What farmers are saying about

Fred – Eastern Central Oregon

I’ve been using the English Country Gardener for three years.  This probably sounds “corny” but it’s so easy, even I can use it.  What I like  is that I use it to put on soil condition and am just starting to use it for other fertilizers and pesticides.  They  tried to get me to buy a couple, but  I have all my sprinklers set up to connect to this one box – and you see from the video that it only takes  us about 30 seconds to hook it up and move it.  I couldn’t farm as good without using the English Country Gardener Injector.

I’ve been using this for two years.  This year when I hooked it up for fertilizing my corn, it wouldn’t work.  So I called Greg.  Simple solution.  I had it on backwards.  It’s marked on the box, so I flipped it around on the water source.  Works!  And it’s easy…easy to use!  Love it!

When we initially installed the unit four years ago, Jerry asked what I wanted the fertilizer flow to be.  We opened the water into it and Jerry showed me how to easily set the flow rate to 60 gph  by setting it with the needle valve and adjusting the flow to the flow meter.  It immediately went to 60 gph.  I told him that was too simple and I didn’t believe it.   So we took a five gallong bucket of the same fertilizer and put the fertilizer inpute ½” woven tubing into the bottom of the bucket.  Opened the water flow throught the injector again, and we timed it with a watch to see how fast five gallons would be gone.  Guess what.  It was four seconds less than five minutes.  That meant it really was applying the fertilizer at one gallon a minute – or 60 gallons per hour.

I run 9 pivots off one portable box.  I have different chemical mixes for each pivot and determine the flow that gives precisely what my plants need each application.

This sounds a little hokey, but installling this injector is one of the single best things I ever did for my farm.
